Additional historical record

Irrevocable philanthropic allocation reported 13 March 2019 (2019-03-13)

Economic benefits attached to approximately 34% additional Wipro Limited shares held by controlled entities were earmarked for philanthropic purposes after reported irrevocable renunciation. Not a cash donation or evidence of full share-title transfer.

The 34% and 67% figures concern Wipro economic ownership, not percentages of Premji’s personal wealth donated. The $7.5B refers to the underlying shares’ market value, not a separately valued economic-rights gift. The $21B is reported corpus valuation and must not be added to the January 2023 $29B endowment valuation.
